Meet Jennifer

Through my consultancy, Action Research, I’ve worked with cities, counties, state and federal agencies, nonprofits, zoos and aquariums, public utilities, and private companies to address complex environmental and public health challenges using practical, evidence-based approaches.

The impact of this work has been meaningful—but the need is far bigger than any one practitioner. If we’re going to meet the environmental, health, and safety challenges ahead, we need many organizations that know how to use community-based social marketing (CBSM) well.

That belief has shaped the direction of my consulting work. Today, my focus is on capacity building and scaling—helping individuals and organizations develop the confidence, skills, and systems to design and deliver effective behavior change programs on their own. Whether you’re launching your first CBSM project, refining existing efforts, or working to embed behavior change practices across departments, my goal is to help you build the internal capability to make that possible.

I’m committed to making behavioral science approachable and actionable. My mission is to spark that shift inside organizations—so CBSM becomes not just a method, but a shared, sustainable practice that empowers more teams to create lasting change.
